LOCAL police officers as well as representatives from a number of other organisations will be on hand for advice at the former Hydro shop, on Lerwick’s Commercial Street, on Saturday afternoon.
Part of the festive safety campaign the ‘pop-up shop’ will be open between 2.30 and 4.30pm.
As well as the police; members from the fire service, women’s aid, as well as the council’s trading standards and its roads department, will all be available for advice.
A police spokesman said: “So if you’re watching the Christmas Light switch-on in town and want a quick break from the cold come in for a chat!”
