Our History
Nico, the youngest of the six children of the owners of the Bangkero Bakeshop Chain, opened his own coffee shop because he was PASSIONATE about coffee. In addition, he helped establish the family bakery, which is well-known in provinces across the nation.
Coffee has consistently been a key component of their company’s success. They get to spend more time together while enjoying cups of freshly prepared coffee. A coffee beverage is necessary for many types of gatherings, including formal board meetings.
Nico didn’t want the chance to run his dream business away when their coffee plantation in Davao Oriental prospered. He chose to build a coffee shop rather than sell the green beans from their plantation.
It was his creative imagination that pushed Nico to shift his concept of a coffee shop from a “basic-looking café” to a modern minimalist design to project a more Earth-friendly approach. He believed that the best way to savor coffee is not to alienate nature but to befriend it.
